Living In Denim & Socks

Shirt: Primark
Over the Knee Socks: Primark

Cheap outfit r us.  Basically I was just chilling and decided I was going to do a happy little photo sesh',  This is a rather in-expensive outfit, but its kind of cute I guess, This is the way I do my hair when I am having what I like to call a 'short day', my short days are when i despise my hair because it looks unnecessarily short and it bugs the heck out of me if it gets in my face & I will scream. (My hair and I have a constant battle). The main reason I took these was because I was feeling rather rejected as my lookbook photos have got 0 hype (oh so popular), and I decided a happy little photo taking would brighten up the day :P Thanks for viewing my irrelevance... :D

Rather Orange

Rust Coloured Cardigan: Zara
White Lacy Tank Top: Hollister
Body con Skirt: Chaos
Scarf: Primark
Tights: M&S
Belt: Primark
Rings: Topshop & Primark

Okie dokie.  This rusty orange coloured cardigan was bought from Zara a couple of months ago, although loads of places are now doing these orange, rusty coloured knits now! I decided to wear this cardigan as I thought just the black skirt and white top were too colourless and boring, although I did then decide to 'spice it up' with the scarf as well!  Now, in this post you are lucky enough to witness those gorgeous little 'things' and the end of my fingers that I no longer feel is acceptable to call 'fingernails', I don't know why but I am now back in the habit of biting them, mature- I know.  They are in such a state and I just haven't gotten around to painting them but from this moment onwards I have decided I definitely need to STOP (we shall see how long this lasts).  There is literally nothing worse than gross nails, and lucky me I've got some...  I don't really have too  much to say about this outfit today, it was another of those 'throw something on' days, and i thought it would be acceptable to do a post on it. :P  Thanks for reading, muchly appreciated <3

Clothes Haul

ul

Blue Knit Jumper: Primark
Green Shorts w/ braces: Zara
Scalloped Top: Topshop
Scarf: Primark
All Belts: Primark
Leaf Ring: Topshop
Pearl ring: Primark
Necklace: Primark

Today I went a bit overboard shopping.  What happened to my 'no spending'.... UGHH!! So anyway, I'll start from the top; the blue knit jumper sort thing from Primark.  This jumper cost me £12 which I thought was pretty good, a few weeks ago I saw one just like it for £40 in some random other top and thought it was too expensive and luckily found this one today.  I don't actually have very many blue clothes but I really liked this and its super comfy and it looks a lot nicer on than it does on the hanger!!  Secondly the green shorts with braces from Zara were only £10 reduced from £30, quite the bargain, if these weren't reduced I probably wouldn't have taken a second look at these but I actually really like them.  I bought them in a size 8 and they are absolutely massive for some irrelevant reason, but I'm going to keep them anyway and just use a safety pin or something to make them smaller.  The third thing I bought was the cream scalloped top from Topshop, this is one of the things I went out specifically to get, mainly because you can wear it with anything and I desperately needed just a plain top for some reason or the next.  Once I got home I looked at the label on the top and I realised it was Topshop 'Tall', NOT HAPPY. But I'm going to keep it anyway, I just cannot be bothered to go out and change it....  Also from Primark, I bought this random scarf thing, I have been wearing the same scarfs for forever so I basically needed to change and this one was soft and only £3 and that is all you need to know.

Throughout this week I have managed to buy 4 belts, all Primark of course :P I'm having a real skinny belt fetish at the moment and as they were dirt cheap I've just been buying them continuously....  FINALMENTE the jewellery; the first ring is one that I featured in an earlier post about rings I want (told you I would get one before February), although my best friend is now going to murder me for getting the same ring (love you frazz :P), I still needed it.  The second ring was Primark and so is the necklace, and although like half of the stuff i bought today is from Primark, I'm not actually a regular shopper there, but I guess it was just their lucky day....

OKAY. That was a long post.... OH WELL.... thank you for reading :D

This Is Why I Save My Coins

+

Rings: All Topshop

OK, basically I NEED one of these rings!  I really like Topshop jewelry at the moment, I like all the nature style and animal rings that they're doing its all quite cute!  I'm really desperate for some new rings as somehow I only have one left....  The only thing about Topshop jewellery is it tends to be a little expensive, the rings are around £5-£20.  I absolutely hate breaking into notes so I save my coins and spend them on things like jewellery, I've managed to find £7.20 in all my purses, its such a good feeling when you count up all your change and realise you can actually afford something!!  I'm telling you, by February I WILL have one of these rings ;)

Is it called Beige?

Dress: Some Boutique
Blazer: GAP
Leggings: M&S
Bracelets: Primark
Necklace: Vintage
Shoes: TK Maxx

Ok, firstly I need to say I LOVE THESE SHOES.  They are definitely my best spend on 2011 so far, they cost me £35 from TK Maxx (I know, cheapskate) and they are literally the most comfy shoes ever! The dress I am wearing is a purchase from Spring 2010, I bought it from some cute little boutique and its one of those things that I think you can generally wear throughout most of the year.  When I found it at the back of my wardrobe I literally died as it is exactly the same colour (Is it called beige?)  as the wedges, PERFECT! Some of the gold studs are starting to fall off the dress now but I'm sure it will be in my wardrobe for a little bit longer.  I originally purchased this blazer for a fashion event I attended back in October (although in the end I never wore it), and I have since worn it so much.  I think it was £50 although it was reduced.  I don't usually shop in GAP but I was looking for a nice blazer so tried absolutely everywhere, and just my luck I found this beauty ;)  Again I am wearing my vintage necklace, but I am also wearing some gold and silver Primark bracelets which probably cost me about £2.

I know this is my second blog post of today but theoretically it is almost Sunday (16 minutes to go!), and I did actually wear two outfits today!

Never Been To Venice

T-shirt: H&M
Skirt: Chaos
Tights: Marks & Spencers

As I am going out this evening, today I had to just throw something on just to wear through the day.  I bought this top a while ago from an H&M in London, it was only around £12 I think, although that wasn't much, the week after I went into my local one and it was reduced- story of my life. Its one or two sizes big as I wear it off the shoulder with other things.  Its a Venice Beach t-shirt which is where I went through a period of wanting to live although I've never even been there.  I really like white t-shirts with the black and white pictures because I think they're really wearable and stuff :P .  Back when I got this body con skirt,  I could not find one anywhere (this was around a year ago), then I found this weird little shop called chaos and hallelujah they had them for just £12, its exactly the same as the one they had in topshop just before then, except it was just cheaper!  Finally the tights I'm wearing are another one of those few things that I own from M&S, I know it is kind of a Granny's shop but its actually quite good for tights and stuff!  I've never actually worn these tights before today because they're a bit, lets say, 'extravagent', but I just felt like wearing something a bit different!  I'm not wearing any jewellery apart from two string bracelets in this picture, mainly for the reason I forgot, although I don't usually wear that much anyway.  I know this outfit is a bit strange and a bit of a miss match, but I'm not going anywhere today and I wanted to give it a try!  I will hopefully be able to do another post this evening of the outfit I shall be wearing to dinner :)
Thanks for reading!

Peter Pan Love

Dress: Topshop
Leggings: Marks & Spencers
Necklace: Inherited from my Great Aunt

I bought this dress last week in Topshop, its not the sort of thing I would usually go for, but for some reason I just did! It cost £26, so it wasn't too expensive and as I'm trying not to spend as much (and failing miserably) I'm trying not to buy clothes that are too expensive for their own good.  I literally live in leggings and these are just one of my 5 pairs that I happened to pull out of my wardrobe, they've lasted me a lifetime and they will not be leaving me until they have multiple holes.  The necklace in this picture was given to me by my Great Aunt, I received it a good couple of years ago but have just in the past couple of days found a real love for it, it is a purple amethyst surrounded by pearls and I just think its really cute! My mum said I should take it to a jewelers and make it look more modern but I think its quite cool and vintage ;)
Hope you have enjoyed my first post, there shall be plenty more to come...
